THE PASSION FOR PIZZA
327 Pizza & Pub has been family-owned since 2005. Our father, Dan, bought the business as a Peppinos franchise located at 303 Main St., just a few doors down. Soon after 327 Main St., our current location was purchased and renovated by my father, many friends, family members, and I. Once the renovation was complete, the pizza equipment was moved in, and business carried on as usual while adding space for dining.
Extra space was still available in the building at 327 Main & I opened ‘Lil Deucescoop Ice cream shop in the “bar area” for about 5 or 6 years before deciding to focus on my full-time job at Doug’s Auto Body right here in Coopersville. At that time, my dad worked hard to obtain a liquor license and it only made sense to change the ice cream shop into, what is now the bar. At that same time, my Dad made the decision to leave the franchise and become an independent pizzeria name 327 Pizza & Pub. My siblings and I all took turns helping and working while my Dad ran the show with the help of Ariana, who has been working with our family since nearly the beginning. If you have been to 327 you have most likely had the opportunity to see Ar and enjoy her smile and friendliness.
My wife and I have grown up in this community our entire lives. I went to school right here in Coopersville and Shanna went to Unity Christian. We both love this small farming town and almost everything that goes with it. I worked 10 great years for a tremendous family at Doug's Auto Body before my wife and I decided it was time for something different. Little did our family know what we were getting into the year we purchased the business from my father. My wife and I had our 1st daughter, followed by moving into a new-to-us house, and before long had our 2nd daughter. In the midst of all of these life events, I was learning the ropes of running a small business that allowed me to use my college degree. Over time things have changed slightly with the menu & decor, yet we strive to keep the same great food and family feel to welcome all ages. Now, just five short years later, here we are still learning, and having fun in a great community. With a great staff that continues to grow and change. Our family is so thankful for this community with all the great support from family, friends, and customers!
